Romantic Garden Party 2016

Welcome Dear Tea Friends to

"Romantic Garden Party 2016!"

Bernideen is celebrating her
100th Tea in the Garden
on Friday, June the 10th  and I was eager to participate.

Congratulations Bernideen! Wow!  100 Teas in the Garden!!
That is an amazing accomplishment and it is such fun for bloggers like me to take part.

The vintage teacups that I would like to share with you are Colclough bone china, Made in England.

Don't they remind you of a cottage garden party?

The teacup shapes are a little different.

The collectible Sadler teapots, cream and sugar and tea plate also feature a crinoline lady in a flower garden.

I found this pretty pink rosed 12 inch pitcher online for $7.99. Perfect for my pink and white garden roses.

Perhaps you would like some pink lemonade instead of hot tea today.

For a light  and tasty snack on our warm outdoor tea time I have made some bite size Vegetable and Cream Cheese Sandwiches with broccoli, cucumber, carrots and celery.

Or help yourself to some Almond Poppyseed Coffee Cake.

Thank you so much for visiting me today and remember to visit Bernideen too.

Have a Wonderful Week Lovely Tea Friends!

See you next time!

  12. Hi Karen, isn't it fun staging tea parties? I can tell you love it because you do such a beautiful job! Romantic indeed! You shouldn't be sitting there all by your gorgeous lonesome self though. :)
Your teapots and teacups with the Southern Belle lady on them are totally amazing and perfect for the setting. Yes, they do have a cottage feel to them and they remind me of the Nursery Rhyme "Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary, how does your garden grow?"
    Just wonderful Karen!
    Have a blessed weekend,

  13. What a beautiful garden tea! The tea pots, cups and saucers, plates, and all the goodies are the perfect touches for a garden tea. Loving the cute white parasols hanging from the trees. Great touch!
Happy Pink Saturday and congratulations to Bernideen!

  14. Hello Karen,
What a totally romantic delightful tea! You really chose beautiful pieces to give it all a light springtime feel. All the china is scrumptious, and tea pots too! Your tea fare looks totally delicious and just the right mix. Happy tea time!

  15. Just beautiful! Congratulations to Bernideen! What a lucky and lovely tea.

  16. Dear Karen, everything is divine, but oh that still my beating heart! It is just beautiful. Love, Mimi xxx

  17. Wow! I squeed when I saw the first image of your fabulous garden tea party. I love everything from the hanging umbrellas to the beautiful Colclough teawares.

If I recall correctly, the Victorian house was on sale for just under $800K. I scrounged my couch cushions for change, but sadly, came short!

  18. What a romantic tea to celebrate Bernideen's big party! Everything looks lovely, Karen! I love your roses and the parasols hanging from the tree! The Colclough and crinoline lady tea ware is so pretty and perfect for a garden party. I would love to try one of your sandwiches and oh, yes, some cake too. Happy Tea Time and thanks for sharing all this loveliness with us.

  19. What a special tea to celebrate our friend, Bernideen's, 100th tea in the garden. Your teacups and teapot are so pretty, Karen. Yes please, I'd love a sandwich and a slice of cake. The parasols look so romantic hanging from your tree for your sweet teatime.
